Alexander on Senate Confirmation of Kyle Fortson as a Member of the National Mediation Board

MARYVILLE, Tennessee, November 3—Senate labor committee Chairman Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) today released the following statement after the Senate confirmed Kyle Fortson as a member of the National Mediation Board:

“A dedicated public servant, Kyle Fortson is eminently qualified to serve on the board. While this is a loss for the Senate labor committee, and I am sorry Kyle will no longer be a part of my staff, I am certain her diligence and expertise will be an asset to the board.”

Fortson has served as Labor Policy Director for the Senate labor committee since 2010.
