HELP Committee Approves Cassidy-led Bills Increasing Access to Health Care for Mothers & Children

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, announced committee passage of Cassidy-led bills increasing acccess to health care for mothers and children. The bills include the PREEMIE Reauthorization Act of 2023, the Preventing Maternal Deaths Reauthorization Act of 2023, and the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0.
