WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, released a statement following President Trump’s announcement that he will nominate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
“RFK Jr. has championed issues like healthy foods and the need for greater transparency in our public health infrastructure,” said Dr. Cassidy. “I look forward to learning more about his other policy positions and how they will support a conservative, pro-American agenda.”
