WASHINGTON – Today, a discussion draft containing technical corrections and other clarifications with respect to the SECURE 2.0 Act of 2022, has been released by U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, and Bernie Sanders (I-VT), chair of the HELP Committee, along with Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Ranking Member Mike Crapo (R-ID). U.S. Representatives Jason Smith (R-MO), chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, and Richard Neal (D-MA), ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, along with Virginia Foxx (R-NC), chairwoman of the House Education and the Workforce Committee, and Bobby Scott (D-VA), ranking member of the House Education and Workforce Committee, released an identical measure in the House.
